Who is God?
God is Yahweh, the one (Deuteronomy 6:4), eternal Being (Psalm 90:2), who is the Creator (Genesis 1:1) of all that exists (Job 38). He is the Father of the nation of Israel, the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Father of all who believe in Christ. He is the author of salvation, the One who sent the Son for the salvation of lost mankind.
Who is Jesus Christ?
Jesus Christ is God incarnate, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, completely God and completely man. He appeared on our planet to reveal God (John 1:1-14), to set an example for us on how to live (1 John 2:6) and to save us from the power of sin (Romans 6:1-14). He the Savior (Acts 4:12), Life (John 14:6), and Lord (Romans 10:9) of all who put their faith in Him.
Who is the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, truly God and therefore co-equal with the Father and the Son (Matthew 28:19, Acts 5:3-4). He regenerates, indwells, and seals all believers at the time of their conversion. Experientially, He fills, teaches, leads, assures and prays for those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ.
What sets the Bible apart from all other books?
The Bible was written by men who were inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16). The original manuscripts of the Old and New Testament comprises the full, word-for-word, truthful and inerrant Word of God (John 17:17) which is the supreme and final authority in doctrine and practice (Isaiah 40:8, II Timothy 3:16-17).
